Also it's properly fantastic to state "at the conclusion of the 7 days" in American English so I do think this boils right down to Us residents and Brits conceptualizing the word "weekend" in different ways (either actually "the top"=issue in time and by extension enough time just before it, or "conclusion"=a Distinctive, named span of your time),
